Dewi just done with the phototaking of more necklaces.

But for this blog entry we would like to introduce Shauna. A necklace that hold a bold presence with teardrop shaped howlite aligned to create a full effect. To the novice eyes, howlite can be easily fooled for turquoise with its veins and color dyed to imitate turquoise. However, howlite has its own properties. Howlite stone is said to have a calming effect and is used to relieve anger and stress of all kinds. Especially for short tempered person…Hmmm..perhaps Dewi should wear it? Also an excellent antidote to insomnia due an overactive mind. So Dewi, put a howlite stone in your pocket and hope you can sleep well tonight.

Well, howlite also has low hardness so it should be handled with great care and not to get into contact with extreme heat or acidic solvents.

For this design, we team up teardrop howlite with round ones and we thought a little sparkle with swarovski cyrstals would somehow add some drama to an otherwise boring hue of dyed howlite.
